What's in this version : (Updated : Aug 27, 2012)
Users who have "forced GPU rendering for 2d drawing" option enabled should now be able to see pictures on the canvas. Thanks to Rob and Jamesy for tracking that one down!
Other users : please note that the aforementioned option is not necessary for this app to run optimally.
Release Notes for v1.2:
Added support for loading images from Dropbox and other non-gallery sources.
Added explicit calls to refresh the canvas panels after loading images.
