PATTERN TOOLS
1. TAP – Tap any point on the image to unlock your phone
2. HOLD – Hold any point on the image for a predetermined amount of time to unlock your phone
3. TRIP – Draw a line on the image and “trip” or “cut” the line to unlock the phone. ( YOU DO NOT TRACE THE TRIP LINE. YOU CUT IT)
4. MULTI – Press two different points on the image to unlock the phone

Once the tools are placed onto the image, and the lock screen is saved and enabled, the pattern tools disappear and all that is left is your picture. All of the tools above can be used to create a one touch or trip line lock screen for quick access or a complicated pattern with multiple steps to prevent unwanted guests.

The greatest thing about iLockit is that you can use something of yours that you can graphically relate to, and actually not forget, to set as your lock screen. For example, my son loves to ride his tricycle. So the other day I took a picture of him on his tricycle and loaded it intothe application as the base image. I placed a tap location over the left wheel, then the right wheel, and finally a hold over his face. Now when I unlock my phone, I tap the left wheel, the right and hold my finger over his face for two seconds and I am in.

Pocket dialers don't want to be inconvenienced with having to input a long password or pattern sequence when trying to unlock their device. They only want to complete one motion or one step to bypass the Lock Screen. Traditionally this could be accomplished several different ways. The important thing to recognize is that all of these ways that are used to access the phone do not in any way act as a security function or as a deterrent. With iLockit Lock Screen, you now have both.

You can setup your device to be accessed by inputting only one motion or step. The difference is that the motion or step is completely hidden from everyone. Only the person who defined the step or motion knows how to access their device. Basically iLockit Lock screen allows the user to keep the simplicity of unlocking the device with one motion or step, but adds a level of security that the user previously never had.
